Sons Of Satan MC (Motorcycle Club)
Sons Of Satan MC is an outlaw motorcycle club founded in Lancaster, Pennsylvania in 1949.
The Sons of Satan MC are a Pagans MC support club and are often referred to as just “The Sons”.
There are other motorcycle clubs with similar names such as “Satans Sons MC”, which are not to be confused with the club discussed in this article.
Sons Of Satan MC History
Sons of Satan Motorcycle Club was founded in Lancaster, Pennsylvania in 1949.
The Sons of Satan are not a one percenter club, however they are an outlaw club who support the Pagans MC.
In the early days Sons of Satan Motorcycle Club was the dominant motorcycle club in the Central Pennsylvania area, with over 100 members in the Lancaster County area.
In the 1960s the Pagans Motorcycle Club started moving into the territory of the Sons of Satan, causing tension between the groups. John “Satan” Marron, who was the Sons of Satan President at the time, met with the Pagans President Fred Burhans, also known as “Dutch” and they became friends. John Marron, along with some other members of the Sons of Satan later patched over to the Pagans.
John “Satan” Marron would eventually become the National President of Pagans MC.

The Sons of Satan Motorcycle Club wear a “P” patch to signify their support of the Pagans Motorcycle Club.

John “Satan” Marron – President
John Marron was the Sons of Satan President for a time before he became the Pagans MC National President.
Sons Of Satan MC Crime / In The Media
1970 – 2 June, 1970. Members of Sons of Satan Motorcycle Club Arthur “Moose” Hulse, who was prospecting at the time for the club and President Steven Hurd, murder gas station attendant Jerry Carlin using a Boy Scout hatchet after taking him to a restroom. It is believed that they licked the blood from the hatchet after the murder. Jerry Carlin’s wife, Patricia Kramer was pregnant with their child at the time of his death. Arthur Hulse, along with President Steven Hurd, were convicted of the murder of Jerry Carlin.
1970 – 3 June, 1970. Sons of Satan members hijack a station wagon driven by Nancy Brown, a mother of four aged 29. They stab her more than 20 times and leave her body in a field in Irvine. It is believed that they forced her to beg for her life before killing her.
2002 – 13 December, 2002. The Sons of Satan clubhouse in Rapho Township is bombed. It is believed that the attack may have been the work of their enemies the Hells Angels. The property had been purchased in 1966 by the club, with the single storey clubhouse having been on the block since the time of purchase.
2005 – March, 2005. After some challenges The Sons of Satan receive approval to rebuild their Rapho Township clubhouse which was blown up in 2002.
2015 – February, 2015. The parole of Arthur Moose is overturned by Governor Jerry Brown. Arthur Moose is serving time over the 1970 murders of Jerry Carlin and Nancy Brown and had previously been deemed as suitable for release by the parole board.
